Registering an Account & Setting Your Realmlist/Client to Play on Azure
Hello Guys
For all the newbies here who do not know how to set themselves up to play on here so here's a quick guide on the steps to take, in order to set up your realmlist and set yourself up to play on Azure.
1.Creating your Account:
In order to create your account, you must visit http://azureregister.ath.cx
You should be greated with a page that looks like this :
Carefully type in your Username, password and E-Mail address into the indicated boxes. Also, if you are using the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, be sure to check "WOTLK Enabled?".
After you've completed all of that, hit Create Account. If you've filled in the required areas correctly, you should get a prompt saying the following:
Creation of account "Your account name here" is completed!
If you have received another message you are missing one of the required fields.
After that's done, your account information is now in our Database. The next step is to set up your realmlist to connect to our server.
2.Setting up your Realmlist:
To set up your realmlist, you must first find the realmlist.wtf file. It is located in World of Warcraft directory in this path:
For Windows XP users:
For Windows Vista users:
Right click the realmlist.wtf file and open it with Notepad, Wordpad or Microsoft Word.
Next, you'll want to delete everything in the document and replace it with our realmlist, so you will write the following:
After that is done, it should look like this :
3.Creating a Shortcut for Play:
After that is finished, hit file, save and close the document. Now go to :
Right click on Wow.exe and select create shortcut. Cut the shortcut that was created and paste it on your desktop. You will use this everytime you start up the game. The reason we do this is so that the game does not auto-update itself to a newer version. Only update to a newer client if Azure staff (being one of the Forum Administrators or ingame GMs) says so.
For a more detailed description of this process, you can visit Administrator DJ's post here:

4. Playing! :
Now you are ready to play on Azure! Double-click the shortcut you made to your desktop, when prompted, enter you username and password you registered with us and you are ready!
Hope this was helpful to you all, have fun playing on the server and thank you for choosing Azure!
